At just 18, this incredibly talented artist/composer/dancer/actress powerhouse, has exploded onto the music scene with her first two single releases.
In late 2016, Emily released her debut single, SUGARCOATED, a collaboration with talented Australian producer Alius. Sugarcoated, with a blaze of bold, vibrant sounds and exotic pop/electro blends reflected the confidence of an artist truly on the rise. Supported with a remix package by DJ Marcus Knight (Armand Van Helden, Timbaland, Missy Elliot, Lenny Fontana, Space Cowboys, +) and Sunset Child (top 5 ARIA club chart), the song was played in clubs worldwide and received airplay in the US where she held the position of being the highest independent artist on the Mediabase Top 40 Activator Chart for March.
Emily’s second single, BOOM, a collaboration with former Polygram, Arista Recording Artist/Composer Cindy Valentine and produced by 2011 Grammy Winners, the Jackie Boyz (credits include Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Jason Derulo +), was released in late August 2017.
With Emily’s unique, charismatic tone, a hook that hangs around long after listening and a remix package by 2016 Grammy Winner Dave Aude (Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Adele, Beyonce, Chainsmokers +), Dave Matthias (Ariana Grande, Alicia Keys, Gwen Stefani, Dua Lipa +) and DJ Twisted Dee Martello (Nelly, Mary J Blige, Michael Jackson, Beyonce +), Boom has enjoyed a record-busting start impacting the Billboard Dance Chart. It was the 5th most added song in its first week out and was named #1 Breakout in its second week.
Emily has been singing and dancing from the time she could talk and walk, performing in her first concert at just four years old and she hasn’t stopped since. While her spare time was filled with dance, vocal and drama classes along with competitions and performances, it was acting which first presented itself professionally and Emily made a name for herself starring in various film and television projects.
Following a trip to Los Angeles as part of a Talent Development Project, the opportunity to pursue her love of music was presented and she began working with LA-based, platinum award winning producer, Stevie Bensusen. She has spent the last two years travelling between Sydney and Los Angeles, completing a full-time professional dance course in Sydney and honing her singing skills recording a number of covers in Los Angeles.
Emily now shares her time between the family home in Sydney and her new home in Los Angeles where she has been hitting the studio working on her debut album.
